Hunting Furbearers in PA

Does anyone know whether you can legally hunt furbearers and small game in PA with a semi auto SBR or SBS? I ask because you can you cannot hunt any game with any semi auto pistol. You can hunt furbearers and small game with autoloading rifles and shotguns. However, I have not been able to locate anything that speaks to whether this also includes SBRs and SBSs.

I recommend you call the game warden in the area of PA you plan to hunt. I know that things have changed since I last hunted in PA. It never hurts to know the local game warden.

I've seen nothing in the the regs that excludes SBRs and SBSs, so in my non-lawyer opinion, they should be treated like any other autoloading rifle or shotgun. It would never hurt to confirm with a phone call, provided you speak with someone competent.
