Hunting with a suppressor

This is something that is not legal in Wyoming currently is being considered.
Our TV station in Casper has a poll going about legalizing suppressors for hunting in WY.
I would like to see this pass myself.
I would appreciate your help

Yup. England!

They work, but they add a lot of weight to the rifle, and do nothing for balance. They also cut recoil down a lot. Very handy when you have take more than one animal from a herd, as the muffled report doesn't seem to disturb them nearly as much.

Yep, Tennessee is suppressor friendly. I've got one for .22 that is fun to shoot and squirrel hunt.

Been using suppresses for years. Just this week here in Texas i became legal to take game animals with suppressed weapons. My daughter will take the first deer off our ranch with a suppressed something this year.

In the defense of XPHunter "silencer" is a genuine term in regards to language used by BATFE. I prefer to call them suppressors too and I understand as you do that the term "silencer" is deceptive and no-doubt used to promote fear and anti-gun rhetoric.

Yeah...let's not get too worried about the terms here. This isn't the hotly-charged issue that the whole "Assault Rifle =/= Assault Weapon" debalce has become.

If "Silencer" was good enough for Hiram Maxim, then it's good enough for me.

Arizona legalized them for hunting last year.

Still legal to own and use here in Ohio, but not hunt. Sure wish they would change that.
