Forgive me, I thought the op was asking about Boat Tail Hollow Point. I no longer use it for deer.

Can't speak for the OP bullet in question ... but the Sierra #1650 .25 caliber120 grain HPBT is deadly on deer sized game ... it is designed as a hunting bullet and is not a target bullet ... the whole GameKing HPBT line is designed as hunting bullets ... MatchKings are another story ...
