I also need info on Western Field in 20GA

I read the posts on yesterdays up dates on western Field 16GA , as it happens my son in law was cleaning out his uncles house , he past a way a few months back and came a crossed this old shot gun , they brought it over to me on Friday , it just happen to be my birthday and with the shotgun they said happy birthday , now , I would like a little well a lot of info on this Western Field , it is a 20Ga M-35 serial# U 74292 , it looks like a Browning, it says Montgomery Wards Western Field on the left side. has push safety behind trigger
I would like to know the arms maker and and year manufactured, I will post pictures . It is in nice condition, and a nice birthday present. Thanks TEDMI

That is also a Stevens 520, I am unsure of manufacturing date as I have not been able to locate any records myself. I do beleive that production ceased in 1930 when they were replaced by the 620. Stevens manufactured these for Monky Wards, Sears as well as a few other stores. Enjoy! and happy Birthday!:)

It is an early Model 520 (Double Hump),I have a Late model 12ga with factory Poly choke and they are great old takedown shotguns,and built like a tank.

When did they remove the "hump"? The one I bought my wife has the flattop receiver,so did my dads.
 
Nice looking shotgun , can someone tell me what chamber mine would be early 20GA Montgomery Wards Western Field , M35 ,I have heard in the early 1900s they had 2 1/2 chamber and 2 3/4 .
I would like to use this shotgun . Thanks TEDMI.
