Careful BsChoy, if Mrs Right sees that post, she might introduce you to "Mrs. Left"!

If you're anywhere as good a shot as the current Marine I just let shoot my stuff my hat is off to you. Remember, it's not quantity that counts but quality and your little arsenal sounds pretty quality to me.

:D

 Welcome to THR & thanks for your service! ;)

You do have a nice start to your collection...keep up the good work!

Welcome to THR.
Start saving your money, you're hooked now.
How is the trigger on your Cz-100? I have been thinking about picking one up, but have heard the trigger is pretty bad.

I'm going to cut back in here and just give all you jarheads a piece of my mind. As previously stated I let an active duty Marine shoot my High Standard at the range tonight because apparently they wouldn't let him take his guns home on leave. He looked to be around 30 so I'd say he was probably around an E-5 or so. That guy shot the ever lovin' CRAP out of a target at 50 ft., I'm going to say an 1 1/4" group maybe a little less. I'm just :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: IMPRESSED that the Marines teach their people to shoot so well, and I don't impress that easy.

:D

Welcome aboard. You might not have many arms, but those you do are certainly of high quality.

Is your AR a carbine or a standard A2 rifle? If it is a standard A2 you might want to look into service rifle matches...

Greetings and Welcome!!

Got to agree with you about the AR rifle - 20 years after I got out (US Army MP) I picked up a used Bushmaster and it just felt like home. And I can still break it down with my eyes closed (and put it back together!). :D

Silly Marine

...my arsonal...a Winchester 30-30....a Winchseter pump action 22...a Walther P-22....a CZ100.....ArmaLite AR-15.

It's not an "arsenal" until it exceeds 30 firearms, n00b. Sheesh. When will these jarheads learn??

(What's that acronym for M.A.R.I.N.E. that gets penciled on a bulkhead in every ship in the Navy?)

Oh, BTW, WELCOME!

:neener:

Greetings
Welcome to the group. Sorry to hear you have contracted the same non fatal disease that the rest of us have. The need to acquire new weapons is an ongoing illness to which the only cure is lack of money. Other than that enjoy your stay. ;)

I have no where else to be excited about my arsonal. So I hope its okay to do it here! My collection started when my grandfather passed away in August of 2005. I inherited a Winchester 30-30, (judging by serial number it was manufactured in the early 1920's) and a Winchseter pump action 22. I have bought for a plinker a Walther P-22. It shoots wonderfully. Then my collection grew, when I wanted to get a more high powered semi-auto for personal protection. For this job I decided to get a CZ100, it is so light I cant even tell when I am carrying it. And last but not least by brand new baby my ArmaLite AR-15. It is kindda funny because when I was in the USMC I couldnt wait to get rid of the damn thing. But when I became a civilian again it just felt as though something was missing. So she was added to my collection. Thanks for letting me brag!!!

*Swoon, thud* Welcome to THR!:p

I've got a nice digital camera I'll trade you for that old worn out .30-30  I'll even send you a photo of what you use to own too!

Welcome aboard! Oh, and yes, Thank you VERY much for our freedom.

Dump the "former" lingo. You are a Marine, there is no way out of it.

My family members who served bashed it so thoroughly into my head that a Marine is ALWAYS a Marine, that my first thought upon seeing "FmrFemaleMarine" was that there was a sex-change involved...
Seriously... My mind immediately associated "Former" with "Female" instead of "Former" and "Marine".

Anyways, welcome!
