I have it narrowed down to a Buckmark with a 5.5" barrel or a complete Kadet.......

Now, a little detail. I already have a blued Buckmark 5.5" URX slabside and am looking at a stainless or what they call the Eclipse. My son is getting big enough to shoot a pistol and I would like to have two so we both can shoot at the same time.:D He can also use one or the other in 4-H shooting. Also have about half a dozen Buckmark mags already.

The other option is a used Kadet, almost perfect shape, for the same price as the Buckmark. I am a fan of CZ's, and have a few of their pistols and rifles. I am not interested in a kit because the kit will cost the same as a complete 22 since the price increase and will cost the same as either one I am already looking at. But, I do know the Kadet upper can come off and will/could get me more time with my other CZ pistols.

They both fit my hand nicely, Buckmark fits me a little better. The Kadet is a little thicker. The Kadet is shorter by about 1 1/2", which is nice. The Kadet also has nicer sights. I think the Buckmark has a better trigger.

So, there is my problem explained. What do I do?:banghead:

You already have a Buckmark, you already have a few CZ pistols, you already answered your own question.

Plus then you will have another full size 75B frame to mix and match with, see what kind of FrankenCZs you can come up with.

I know for a fact that the 40B WILL NOT accept the Kadet, or the PCR slide, and the PCR will not accept the 40B slide. Bummer.

Also saw a Buckmark Practical URX yesterday that has caught my eye which is about $100 cheaper than my first 2 choices. Now I have 3 choices in the mix..............

What do you want? A service type pistol that shoots .22 or a more of a target 22? Is sounds like you are missing a service type .22 in your collection.

I have the Kadet Kit usually installed on my 75B, but sometimesit goes on my PCR. It works flawlessly on both. For the same money, I'd go Kadet.

Problem solved. Picked up the Kadet. Now all I need is some extra magazines......

How about a Colt Ace 45ACP firing .22 cal rounds--used to train WW2
GI's to fire a 45---what a horrible joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
