I have always loved the way a 1911 fits my hand and points. I actually purchased one about 6 years ago but due to some kind of problem with my right wrist was never able to shot it comfortably. I slowly stated divesting myself of all guns except 9mm due to the aforementioned wrist problem. Every once in a while I would get another 1911 but the same problem would crop up and it would be sold. Now fast forward to this weekend. My dealer calls me to let me know he has a Springfield WWII that I have been looking for do I want it. After running down little old ladies and infants on my way to the gun store I am finally holding a Springfield WWII. Note: Springfield WWII's are a little hard to come by where I am at. As soon as one shows up it is sold, usually 5 minutes before I show up.
Anyway I pick up the Springfield and on a lark decide to run a box through it just for grins. That is when the problems started.......I am hooked. I enjoyed shooting it and no wrist pain. I don't know what is differenct but me the King of 9mm is actually thinking about getting a 1911 for carry??? Does this mean that Hades has finally frozen??
