Today, I went to the local gun show with admar2, einnor1040, and a gentleman from another forum. I brought with me a Romanian SAR-1 to sell. Well, I sold the rifle for $350 to a middle-aged woman (late 50's - early 60's), who liked the way it looked and wanted something fun to shoot. I'm telling you, there's just something about southern women that's just right as rain.
Well, after parting with my Eastern-European mistress, I headed over to the table of a gentleman who had a nice little collection of ladies for sale. He had some Enfield's, Yugo SKS's, CETME's with nice wood furniture, a couple Mosin-Nagant M38's and 1891/30's, and two lovely Finnish M-39's. Well, I left with a 1943 M39 with all matching numbers and in excellent condition. I paid $125 out the door for her, since I didn't have to pay tax or background check fee due to my C&R license. This was actually my first purchase using my C&R too.
It was a pretty good day.
