I never hear about light trigger strikes on the Ruger LCP but light strikes seems common on the Kel Tec P3AT I put mine on consignment for that reason. Just could not get used to the long reset on the Kel Tec.

My question is does the Ruger LCP have the same long trigger reset as the P3AT??

I really like the Ruger LCP and Kel Tec P3at. Plan on renting the ruger LCP and find out for myself. Been considering a Sig P238 but can't get the a Crimson Trace. For me the Crimson trace is great for training for my point of aim. Eyesight so bad can't see sights so just point an shoot. Getting to ba a fair shot.

If your getting a lite strike on a KelTec your not letting the trigger reset . Its just like shooting a DA revolver. I have 4 never a problem I don't see where the trigger on a LCP is any better than a KelTec.

I was referring to the fact that you need to let the trigger go forward all the way to reset on DA revolver. Same with KT and LCP Not the 2nd strike as neither of these 2nd strike pistols

thanks all so the ruger LCP has the same reset headache as the P3AT.

For me making good decison to leave on cosignment and stick with my revolvers.. I believe a Colt pony has second strike, Spendy to find one, but at least can send to Clyinder and Slide for a tune up, which will cost more than a LCP or ket tec

some stick to my decision person i am . Cabelas has a Colt Pony . was going to go look but stopped at every gun shop one the way, Picked up a Sig P 238 HD for weigh 20 oz rather than the normal 15 oz. Came back home, found on Guns America and ordered. have to laugh at my self. Really liked my Ket Tec P3AT with Crimsion Trace but could not get past the trigger reset. maybe this will do the trick for me.
