I cant find +P ammo anywhere

I usually buy 9mm ammo at Cabelas (Speer Gold dots) but I cant seem to find them in +P...Are the 124 Grain Gold dots just as good or should I look harder for +9 rds....

midway has it. In fact midway has almost anything you need. They support the NRA with the NRA round up where you round your order up to the next doller (its voluntary). I no longer buy at wal-mart and only buy gun related products at stores that support my second ammendment rights.

I went to my local dealer and all they had was the non +P version. I asked them to order me some +P and they did. It came in the next week.

The Gold Dot +P has the LEO sticker on the box. Maybe that's why some dealers are shying away from it.

If it has the LEO only sticker, it is old stock. Speer "released" for non-LEO sales at least three years ago.

Well, I guess I have not bought it in a while. My boxes have the "no lowly civilians allowed" sticker.

"...I asked them to order me some..." Yep. Sometimes the magic word are "Order me some". Especially when you have cash or a credit card. In most cases, if your local shop's suppliers have it, you can order whatever you want. Money Up Front is normal.
Mind you, a reloading press makes this kind of search go away.

There are bunches of online ammo suppiers listed under
"Companies: Firearms, Accessories, Training" in the links section of the THR Library. Many of them offer a variety of +P ammo, some at very competitive prices. HTH
