I had my monthly IDPA match this morning....and sigh....I forgot my gun at home.
I cleaned it last night, gauged all my match ammo, prepped my range bag, even went through a checklist to make sure I had everything I would need.
Of course, I was talking with my girlfriend when going through the checklist, and set the gun down to talk to her and it never quite made it into my range bag. :banghead: I got to the range this morning to gear up and noticed my pistol pouch was quite light...instant panic.
Luckily, I borrowed a friends TGO2 for the match, but it didn't like my mags, so I got lots of tap, rack, ready under my belt.
On the good side of things, I won the raffle at the match and took home a sweet pair of Wiley X shooting glasses with interchangable lens and sold a rifle and made some money. From receiving the phone call to transfer of the gun in under an hour. What a rollercoaster day.
