I just got a new Colt Sp2 from my uncle, new to me at least. he only shot 200 rds through it. since i got it a month ago i put a few hundred rounds through and it will shoot 1 to 1.5 moa at 100 yards with lake city ss109 when in prone. it has a slab side reciver and a1 sights.it only has a few scratches on it and a small ding where the coating flaked off right below the cary hadle. i got it for $450. i cant find any info on sp2. whats its worth. ill post pics as soon as i get a new cord for my camera.

It's worth more than you paid for it, that's for sure. A functioning, non-Oly or Hesse AR for under $500 and you've done decently well.

i would put it over 1000 bucks. sp1's like that routinely go for 1500 bucks.

i would also say, that if this is an origional colt, made sp'2, from long ago, that it could be worth just as much as well, many dudes would love to have that lower and reciever, if they are origional made.

Don't know exactly what it is worth, but I can tell you for sure that if you don't like it I will gladly take it off of your hands for $451.00...We both win!
