Today, I was cleaning the bore of my Steyr ProHunter with Sun Scrubber, and dangit, a small stream of solvent got on my stock. It turned it white. I couldn't clean it off or buff it out. I had to use steel wool to rub the discoloration off my synthetic stock. I mostly gone now, but so is the matt finish in the area where I had to rub. I'm never going to buy another rifle with a synthetic stock again! :banghead:

However, later today, I got shot really good groups with it, even with the Spanish 7.62x51 NATO surplus stuff.

Not sure what Steyr uses in their synthetics, but my two Remington 700 VS, the old one with an H&S Precision stock and the new one with the H&S lookalike stock have both had gunscrubber hit the stock without result.
