I got my CCW today!

Who would think a little business card sized piece of paper could make someone so happy.

I kept putting this off for the last few years, dreading the hassle having to take the class, going to the sheriff's office, filling out the application and having it notarized, getting printed, the expense of it all. But, man-oh-man, was it ever worth it.

It ended up being a lot easier than I ever imagined. The waiting truely was the hardest part. Every day, for the last few weeks, I'd eagerly wait for the call that my CCW was ready and finally today I got it.

I'm "shickled titless"!

Well, I suppose I'll be off now for the requisite first carry experience at Wal-Mart!

Congratulations on your new license Spin,

May I respectfully sugges you now go get some quality training... even if you have had some in the past, more is always better.

You can attend a top quality school for about the price of a 1911 or SIG. The difference is you will have what you learned forever...

Training is terribly imporant... to your survival in a hostile encounter and your ability to survive the aftermath.

I still remember when I first received mine! I think I went everywhere in town. Including the obligatory wal-mart trip.
