Finally Got My CCW License!

Well, I went to the Sheriff's office in downtown Tulsa, on the afternoon of the 26th of October of 2004. Filed my application, my fingerprints were good to go on the first shot, thank God! On the 22nd of January, I got a letter back from Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations. That letter was dated on the 18th of January.

They said I was approved; & they mailed my license to my local Sheriff. Exactly ninety-one days after my application, I had my CCW license safely in my wallet! I heaved a big sigh of relief! So now, I am in the ranks of the CCW's. Stay safe & aim true.

BTW: Packing.org says I can carry in OK, But for some darn reason you can't carry here. I think there's legislatoin pending to help that but i don't think it will pass. Oh well, you can still carry in a lot of other states.

Plan to Carry(CCW)

Well, in response to Eagle45's query, I have been carrying since the 25th of January, when I picked up my license.

I carry the Taurus PT940SSPRL. It's a medium framed .40 caliber semi-auto, with one round in the pipe, & ten in the mag.

And as El Tejon says, may I never need it, the Good Lord willing! Someone's gonna have to refresh my gray cells. Which state is the Beaver State?

I won't forget Oregon being the Beaver State. Funny thing though, I just
recently purchased a custom holster from Ted Blocker Holsters, in Oregon.

I just got an e-mail yesterday, saying they shipped my holster with DHL.
