I really want a blued commander length 1911 in .40 S&W. I can't seem to find anyone who makes one for a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong, I love .45ACP, but I'm sick of never being able to find it.

Now I just need to find a good kit. Has anyone used the fusion kits?

Time you build a fusion kit and do it right you will have easy 1000 + so might as well buy one

although its a full-size 1911, STI also offers the Trojan in .40S&W; I think the Trojan is the best 1911 value right now.
