I have $350 left over.... Decisions decisions

Unfortunately these will be the last firearms I purchase for a while, as I'm starting a car restoration project and the money needs to go there.

I've restored a few cars, and it gets to be a long, time consuming money pit. Boy, it's a good thing I got out of that and built an AR or two! Seriously...I'd be tempted to buy even more bulk ammo spam cans. You can never have too much. After busting your knuckles for a few hours straight, you may want to go out and burn up some ammo quickly. :)

1. Taurus M605. It would be nice to have a home defense firearm.

Always a good idea.

2. GSG 522pk. .22 ammo is dirt cheap, allowing me to go range a blow a lot of rounds and have fun when I don't have the $$$ for 7.62

More fun than you can shake a stick at. Cheap, too.

3. SKS. Just because it seems like a reliable simple rifle.

I've had 2 since the 80's and they cost $75 at walmart with a spam can cheesy chinese "military" gear. I put 20 rounds through one of them in that entire time. I don't like it. Some people love them, I just can't figure out what all the appeal is. I may throw some tech sights at it and see if I like it more, but it still feels like s 2x4 in your hands. To each his own, though.

With the way thing are going economically, either buy food to store or more ammo. I look for this to be a very unstable year for the U.S. That is unless you are wealthy already!

Recommending a Hi-Point over a Taurus is like saying, "You know what, you should stick to eating potted meat food product instead of ground chuck. You never know when you might get an unexpected case of Jamaican vomiting sickness."

That may be the coolest thing I've ever read on here.

As far as your question, do you handload? If not, I would start. You can get started for $350 easily.
