I purchased some ammo from double tap for my g20, 135 grain nosler hollow points and the 230 wide flat nose , gas checked rounds and reading the reviews they seem impressive and just wondering what some end users think about the rounds.
It's the best commercially made 10 mm ammo available!
Those 10 mm Noslers fly at 1600 fps, with 767 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, and the report is all of that! You're easily up there with any .357 magnums sounding off at the range! This is an awesome SD round!
I don't hunt, but those 10 mm 230 grain flat noses should be excellent trail and (selective) hunting rounds!
I also use the 9 mm and .45 ACP as SD/HD ammo--it's great stuff at fair prices!
Everything I've shot from Double Tap has performed great (10mm and .45ACP). When the site says that the 135gr. 10mm loads fly at 1600fps they are pretty much spot on. I chrono'd the same loads through a converted Glock 21 and a five shot test group averaged 1580 fps., so the DT numbers are not just marketing hype.
