I know who shot JFK........

I see a few weirdos in the gun shop now and then. Also get a few coming up to the jobsite looking for work (or something to steal). Since we're probably not gonna end up being best buddies I just ignore them,or once I just agreed with everything he said. That was an interesting guy:uhoh: .

In my experience the surest way to find a "nut job" short of the "loony bin" is in a gun shop
Hmmmm...

I wonder what that says about the gun community in general and gun shops in particular?

If true it kinda makes one wonder if the anti's might not just be right

I can see it now. Somewhere in a locked room in the National Academy of Sciences...

"The President is cutting our funding."
"Call in the hitters. LBJ will come around."

"really i thought it was the queen of france that shot JFk.....i guess i was WAY off........"

Well, I'm the queen of France and it wasn't me. I was busy that day inventing the Brazilian Bikini Wax. :neener:

Sounds like you average Security Guard to me. Jackie shot her husband with a derringer and Connelly to. Found out they were really lovers. How do I know a White House Security Guard told me.

Your friend is a liar
One of my high scholl friend's father personally knew the guy that did it and he died in the Bay of Pigs invasion

Think about that one for a second

I thought it was the Invisible MAN & Wonder Woman! Batman was supposed to be busy chasing the Joker & The PENGUIN!

In all seriousness, I'm glad he didn't freak out on anybody!

Oh, I know I'm going to regret this... but JFK's murder was for reasons that have never been discussed... at least not anywhere I've seen... and it sounds way too far fetched to go into here...

How old is this dude?

If he was an ex-Marine who was recruited by the NSA to shoot Kennedy, he must be OLD. I remember whare I was when it happened -- I was in the cafeteria line at the student center in my sophomore year of college, so that would have made me (I think) 19 years old. I'm now 62, so for this guy to have been positioned for there to be even a mathematical chance of the story being true, he would have to be several years older than I am.

Yo Batman, its Superman! Look dude, me & the Justice League are getting together later on, wanna join us?
What silliness...everyone knows that the Justice league disbanded like 3 months ago after Batman's rogue Brother Eye project fell under the control of Maxwell Lord and he caused so much trouble with the Omac attacks. Batman is now not that popular with the rest of the ex-JLA and they would definately not invite him to any get togethers. What a bunch of nerds you are for not knowing this. :D

You know, I am a lucky guy for so many reasons. I dont have many bad days and I dont get worked over to much, but I have had enough of this stuff. now I have never heard anything quite that far out but several times a week I hear "I was Special Forces" and then watch the guy walk out the door to the range and get confused when he has a stove pipe. I have had guys look me in the eyes while passing over their money to go shoot and tell me something like this, just so I should know...then go out to the line and not know how to rack a slide.

I would say this happens about 20 times a week. I have a moral prediciment over it all. I do like the business and these people buy anything I tell them the Seals are using but it just gets to me. Although, I do have a wonderful weapon in this war on idiots. Sometimes one of them is just a putz. Well, One of my friends who will help us out as a RO on real busy days is a retired Green Berret.(24 years 3 silver stars) The Real Deal, coin in pocket, been there done that. And unless they had photochop in the 60s has the photo album to go along with it. He is in his late 50s about 5 foot 6 and looks like a California hippy. Seriously. He wont tell yah until you tell him. Well, the same people who decide I need to know, decide he needs to know when they get out on the line. He is a kind man but I think he is going to punt someone into the parking lot one day. I just wish their was a law so he could get all those beers for plunking his coin down.

+1 & Amen
Also +1 for your buddy on the beer law.

You and the gun shop owner really need to talk to the local police about this guy. He fits the profile like the guy that walked into Denny's in Rep of Kali and started shooting. They need to know about him and possibly will follow-up. If they don't, your conscience is clear should he do something to someone.

The best theory on JFK I've heard:
Oswald DID act alone. The Mafia & others got scared that they would be would be investigated, so tried to cover up anything that could conceivably (albeit incorrectly) link them to something they really didn't do.

Go download & run "JFK Reloaded" (3D first-person simulation of the event) - pretty much instantly ends any "Oswald couldn't have done it" speculation.

I have investigated the Kennedy assassination and have discovered incontrovertible proof there was a conspiracy involving many people who, to date, haven't been named. But you will learn the truth now. What you will learn will shock you. There was a conspiracy. Proof that Oswald knew Jack Ruby well before the shooting. But you'll now learn the truth that Hollywood and the NFL also had a part to play. What part I haven't fully gleaned but I am working on it. You'll soon see all these players knew each other before 11/22/63.
I had heard rumors that Oswald and Ruby use to meet at least once a week in a bar in Dallas. After digging thru archives, photos, and records from old bars, dance halls, taverns, and night clubs, I found the following picture. If this isn't proof enough for even the most skeptical of believers that Oswald and Ruby knew each other then there's just no hope that any of you really want to know the truth.
So what's the Hollywood connection you ask? Look closely at the man in the white cap in the rear just to the left of center. Dean Martin dressed as one of the Village People? I think so. Think not? Well, then, just tell us where was Dean Martin on 11/22/63 at noon?
But what's the connection to the NFL? Look at the man partially obscured on the far right side. Could it be - Tom Landry? Afterall, this picture was taken in Dallas, Kennedy was killed in Dallas, and Kennedy being from Boston would not have been a Dallas Cowboys fan. Could Tom Landry have been involved? Kennedy was shot during the week about noon. The Cowboys wouldn't have been playing a game during the week and practice wouldn't have started yet for the day. So just where was Tom Landry on 11/22/63?
That's enough proof for me, and should be enough proof for anyone. Photos don't lie. I know, someone will say "Photoshop". Just shows how ignorant people can be when they don't want to believe. Photoshop wasn't even around in 1963 when this picture was taken.
I'm still trying to identify the others in the picture. I can assure you that when they are, the top will blow off the case, and everyone will say "he was right!"
I have identified the name of their secret group. "The BowTie Gang." Note the gang sign spray painted on the back wall. It's a warning to us that, if their secret is revealed, we're all in danger.

When the guy said that he has been named the flyfisherman of the year and will be featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of Rod & Reel magazine I would have exclaimed; "Rod and Reel Magazine! I would'nt even wipe my arse with a Rod and Reel Magazine."

I invented the internet

oh, come on now Highvelocity you storyteller.................everyone knows Al Gore really invented the internet. :D

Lots of humorous replies as I thought this story might generate. Yes this guy was definitely whacked. He claims he is 62 years old, and I would guess that was probably the only truthful thing he had to say.

I did stop by the shop yesterday to see what the owner's thoughts were since we didn't have a chance to talk about it. He was closed during his normal business hours (not sure why) so I'll have to try back. I told my brother the story today at church. He's a LEO and will look this dude's info. up according to the name he gave. My brother is also a frequent customer of the shop and knows the owner other than just for business. He'll stop in to see him.

It's not that the guy is strange that got my senses up, it is the fact that he made numerous references to carrying concealed and his permit to do so, how he had threatened people, brandished and pointed his handgun at people as well as talked about killing people in every other sentence. He also had the XD for sale with Black Talon ammo (wonder where he got it lately unless it was from a while ago) with a weapons light and actually showed an arrest report citing jail time and charges for stolen property. That setup he had was probably about $700.00 new. He had only one magazine, no box and no papers that I could see. If I were going to sell a semi-auto of mine, I would (as I have) offer the entire setup for sale similar to how I bought the gun, including any extra mags I may have.

Numerous signs were there to send up red flags and had I the authority to check things out right there, I would have done so before he left the shop.
