just love it.... i got a box full of 1970's Russian 7.62x 54r from the UPS guy today... cant wait to turn it to noise, muzzle flash and holes in paper targets
I like it too but I really hate it that now along with the ORM-D they are putting Small arms cartridges on the same label.
It's a strong invitation for theft.
ORM-D is also put on select cosmetics as well. Wife and I came home to a box labeled ORM-D and I was much more excited than she. I figured it was a gift from a family member or something. Turned out to be an AVON box. Can't recall if it had any aeresol in it or not but probably did.
Haven't seen such a package since January. Its not for a lack of trying I can assure you. The sites I buy from still say out of stock and no backorder or simply out of stock. A bummer for sure. Anyway the hunk of a UPS driver is no more. He has been replaced by a lady. So no eye candy for me. He sure looked good, muscles flexed while carying 2160 rounds of 5.45x,39. He will be missed. Any way back on track I don't think I'll see ORM-D on any packages any time soon but you never know.

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 49 Part 171.8 defines a Consumer Commodity and those items with exceptions provided in the 172.101 table, of limited quantity, and conforming to the definition of "Consumer Commodity" may be marked and sent ORM-D. There are weight and volume restrictions for all ORM-D packages which vary by hazard class.
Here's a link to the 172.101 table if you like to see the list of materials that qualify for hazardous materials labeling = ORM-D.
