I bought a Ruger P95 yesterday for about $270 w/ a nylon holster, cleaning kit, and Ruger T-shirt.
There were a lot of things that seemed odd about the P95, like the backwards safty, the mag release, and the field strip procedure. After shooting the gun for a bit, and practicing the field strip everything began to make sense. The safety, while opposite that of a 1911 is actually very natural, as well as all other controls.
I really liked the stock sights, I know some people aren't huge fans but I find them to be very easy to use. The gun seems to point very well, and I was able to hit anything I wanted to. It fed on S&B, Brown Bear, and Remington flawlessly right out of the box with a little oil.
Great gun for the money, I am one happy customer, and possibly Ruger's newest fan!
