I use a 150 grain flat nose hollow base bullets. This allows the skirt to grip the rifle and reinstate solid accuracy.

I use all new starline brass and depending on customers need push the bullet with different powder

It's basically a minie ball. I don't know how much pressure it would take but if you get too much it will blow the skirt and accuracy will go out the window.
 
I've done a lot of testing these here are swaged around 13 bhn.
Accuracy is superb when I send em about 850 ft a

I have some cast ones I cast accuracy is superb and with a full case of triple 7 they run around 930 fps not so anemic as they were once thought to be.

I don't push em to hard to not blow out the skirt.

I'm making these especially for people who have conversions with a bore of .375.

Since they are so much easier then a heeled bullet
