I currently carry my LCR in a Remora holster in the AIWB position or pocket carry. The holster a marvel of versatility and concealment. I only have one problem- when I work bent over for a long time the pistol creeps up and if I don't push it back it will eventually fall out. It fell out while I was working in the garden, I forgot to push it down often enough, and then it got full of sand when it fell, an occurrence I don't wish to duplicate.
I'm retired and spend most of my time working around my home and small farm so deep concealment and blazing speed isn't a necessity, besides I have the Remora for when I go out. I'm looking for comfort in all positions and also a holster that will hold my LCR securely and still be comfortable even when I'm bent over for a long time such as weeding the garden, sitting in the truck or changing oil in the tractor. I have been thinking about a cross-draw OWB holster with a strap. I think OWB would be more comfortable while working and cross-draw seems like it would be easier for me since I could use my left hand to get shirts/jackets out of the way. (I'm partially disabled and coordination can be a problem.) Since I'm on a fixed income price is also a consideration. I've been looking but I haven't seen anything that screams “buy me, buy me”.
Any suggestions?

Simply Rugged pancake holsters can be used either strong side or crossdraw. Not expensive for leather. Kydex or nylon could probably be had less expensively, but I'm not that familiar with what's available in those materials.
You might also try your Remora in a position other than appendix.

I used to sell a very popular holster called "Minute Man" back in the 90's that were produced by exacting metal replica molds of each particular hand gun. To say the least these fit like tight skin once broken in. They were vegetable tanned so never stained and the only way they could ever be removed was by the wearer clearing leather for practice or getting serious. These were highly sought after by professionals in and out of law enforcement. I believe this daughter/father holster business team was bought out by one of the big holster makers that you see selling the pancake holster claiming exacting profiles to fit exact specifications of particular models of hand guns if any of these exist anymore. I just have not been out there much so don't know what is available, however, this type of holster built to your specific LCR outside dimension's like the old "Minute Man" holsters would never fall out, would never be removed by anyone but you, and has no external snaps, straps, garbage, and extra weight or things that add a bunch of weight us retired guys hate to be dragging around. I don't want to mention any names of holsters I see advertised as it might not be appropriate so I will leave that up to you.

I also carry a snubbie and prefer OWB...I've made myself just about every style that's out there and this is what turns out to be my favorite....a paddle.
Easy on and off and I move it around from strong side, appendix, to cross draw, depending on what I'm doing at the time.

From your site listed I looked at your paddle formed to fit the firearm type holster pitchers with no frills, snaps, and all that extra stuff "I" don't need. These types are pretty much exactly what I was thinking for our member who is finding his LCR in the cabbage patch and they don't grow well once planted in those areas. I would recommend this type of holster keeping in mind your ability/flexibility to mount where necessary, use as cross-draw, stash in a pocket, or possibly use as a shoulder holster. I wear bibs most of the year so this adds many variables to my options.

Any holster that allows a gun to work its way out and fall to the ground is totally unsuitable for carry (or any other) use.:scrutiny:
