I have used a sparks VMII and I love it, but even with the clips it doesnt tuck well for me. I also tried a CTAC and that was just plain uncomfotable for me because the kydex kept digging into the skin on my lower back, and the clips kept comming off my 1.5" gun belt.

I usually shoulder or OWB carry, but I want to carry a USP Compact tucked in situations that require that I am discrete, but I cant wear something lose enough for shoulder carry.

My only criteria are that the holster not dig into my side, it is secure, and stays tucked whether sitting, standing, or bending.

I have considered the Comptac MTAC, but I am a little weary of using comptac again after my CTAC experience. I have also considered the Blade-Tech UCH, but from previous experience with blade tech I have found their holsters to be pretty bulky.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I really like the High Noon Split Decision holster. Single clip, but sturdy if you have a belt on. For me, it's always stayed tucked.

Same problem here, but solved by a Thunderwear holster worn at 2-3 oclock.

Wear it as high as you need to and your shirt tucks in and stays in.

No clips to show on the belt, either.

I have a Cochise Defender fro K & D.

Kevin made some special little spacers for me so the clips stand out from the body of the holster a little. Not much, just a couple thicknesses of leather. The workmanship in this holster is fantastic. I wouldn't try tucking any kind of thick flannel shirts, but for everyday shirts, it's not bad. The only bad thing I have to say about it is it seemed to take forever to "break in" to my own shape. He has a new design that probably would work even better.

First off, do take a look at the new (MTAC). Basically the CTAC w/ a leather backing for better comfort. Another pro of this holster is that you can buy different kydex "bodies" to swap out for different guns. Save's a lot of money. Very comfortable, only had mine ~2 weeks at this point. Tucks pretty well but only wore it tucked once.

I had a tucker texas heritage w/ velcro clips and that thing tucked REALLY well. Dress shirts, no problem. I ended up selling it to finance my MTAC, though. Only thing is that it was "specific" to my XD 9 SC whereas my new MTAC slide will take the SC or .40 service.

I've also heard great things about the crossbreed supertuck.

You need to call Crossbreed Holsters:

Crossbreed Holsters

They have a variety of tuckable holsters that work very well. Not only numerous designs, but varied attachment methods to help maximize comfort and security. The video on the Super-Tuck page shows how well they work.

Super-Tuck

I have several of this model and find they work perfectly for guns of any shape and size. I am currently using one for the Glock 22 that easily hides the gun while being quite comfortable to wear. There simply is no beating their holsters for maximum carry comfort and effective concealment at a very reasonable price.

Listen to Grayrider. My CROSSBREED is top notch and causes my Sig P226 Blackwater edition to literally disappear on my hip right in the middle of the ugly south Florida heat. Once situated to my comfort zone I can go anywhere and not be detected. If I need it, the draw is slick clean and smooth. I can wear it with a polo shirt or a tucked in oxford and no problems. Long term the comfort level is superb and I've even fallen asleep wearing it in front of the tv while resting in my "DAD'S CHAIR" (Lazy Boy). Best of all, it's pretty inexpensive!

Tucker

I have their Texas Heritage for my G22 and my S&W 1911 Sc. Both holster are very comfortable, conceal beautifully, and stay tucked. I use them year 'round, leaving them untucked when I have a cover garment. I've been very happy with mine.

I will add another recommendation for the Tucker Texas Heritage. I have owned at least three--most for guns I have since sold or traded. I still have one for my SIG P228. Comfortable, adjustable for both cant and ride height, and easily concealable under a tucked dress shirt.

My Crossbreed Supertuck is the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. And it's a lot cheaper than those big names. But not less quality.

Thanks for the replies so far. I have not had good experiences with Crossbreed. I have two of the SOB holsters for my USP full size. The gun will just pop right out of both of them when I sit down in certain positions, like if Im driving. the kydex just does not hold it tight enough. I ordered an original holster I had problems with it and then another holster showed up and I had the same problems. I have never had that problem with any other holster for my USP, or any other gun for that matter. I would love to try the supertuck, but I just cant trust the Crossbreed design for my guns, especially those without safeties. I need to make sure that triggerguard stays covered at all times, and with the SOB my USP will pop out of it enough to expose the trigger.

Im glad you all have had good experiences with Crossbreed, but Im going to have to rule them out unfortunately.

JLStorm,

I am sorry to hear you had issues. Don't forget their warranty. You may want to give them a chance to adjust the rigs for you as I know they stand behind what they sell.
