Jump in your car (unarmed), go to the worst part of town, get out of car, walk around the block!

If you make it back to your car (and it's still there and drivable) you will have a new appreciation for your firearms and a renewed desire to remain proficient with it!

:D

It's understandable. I just recently got back on my gun "kick" within the last couple of years. Some summers I can't stay off the golf course (hopefully this summer is one of them too!), this year I find myself at the outdoor shooting range more often. Each man should play as little or as often as he likes, and with the "toys" of his choosing.

I'd say you're OK. I go through the same thing with my hobbies, especially lately. Since taking up money issues with my financially irresponsible wife, and now in the process of filing bankruptcy because of it just to try and save our house, I have lost some of the zeal I had for playing my guitars and target shooting. I also was recently laid off. I received my first unemployment check today for half of what my normal pay would have been. So, my time has been overwhelmed with attorney paperwork for a Chapter 7 filing, and unemployment filings and job hunting. It'll come back around. Right now, I just have other, more important priorities. Next time I do pick up the guitar and start playing/recording again, I'm sure it will be a blues tune.
