Anyway, I recently purchased a DPMS lower at a gun show to force myself to build an AR. Well money is still kind of tight, but I am dying to finish this. I was looking around and came across this Del-ton upper. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this company or upper in particular. Any critiques of it from more experienced AR folks is appreciated as well

Also, if anyone has any other reccomendations for a complete upper in the -450 range I would greatly appreciate the input, thanks.

I have that exact upper, with a YHM Flip Up Front Sight Gas Block and a YHM Flip Up Rear Sight. Normally the Flip Up Front Sight Gas Block is $65 extra, and the Flip Up Rear Sight is $79, so that's a pretty good deal.

i too have been considering a kit from delton. i would like to hear reviews of their uppers as well as other parts they make.

I just picked up a Del-Ton upper. I havent had a chance to take it to the range yet (tomorrow). It looks to be well assembled with quality components.

They shipped the upper one day after I placed the order!

Del-Ton and J&T seem to get favorable reviews at ar15.com. I've been very happy with my Del-Ton kit, built on a Stag stripped lower.
