I put the Hex on my Sig 226

Fancy looking aluminum stocks. I would prefer dark screws though as I feel they take away from the blue of the stocks. I thought this thread was going to be about the hex- sight system.

Very easy to hit the 6 inch gong at 25 yards.

I got the all stainless so the weight would help to reduce felt recoil as I find the .40 S&W a bit zippy. If I had to do it again I think I would have gone with the 9 mm.

My 229 came with hex socket screws, but my 226 and 220 came with regular slotted screws.

Mighty Fine Pistol you have there!:D
I have one that looks just like it (just not the fancy grips and screws)!

Do you find the Aluminum grips narrow it at all?
I could go for some slimmer grips on mine.

Sweet pistola.
That gun is a perfect candidate for a 9mm conversion barrel.
IIRC Sig, Barsto and some others make them.
Of course the very best way to reduce the recoil on a .40 is to buy a reloading press, hint hint.
