not really but it did kinda feel like it anyways i was at my local gun shop and came up on a SIG p229 with 4 12 mags and 2 10 round mags all sig manufacture , the gun has nitesites but no box and it is the old style without the rail any ways its does show some wear and i figure with the mags and nitesites itll be around $550 at least right? thje guy said he'd take $399 out the door i dang near ripped my pocket open getting out my credit card. now i just gotta get a good holster and some ammo to go thru it.

Hey guys I was wondering what is actually a good price for a p 229? there's one at my local shop for 450 has two mags comes with both fully loaded with some hydrashock rounds. is this a good price or what?

Yes, spoonman72 that is a fair deal, on a great weapon. What kills
the price of used SIG's (that were formerly purchased by someone else in
NIB condition), is SIG's factory certified Pre-Owned Program; where they
have dumped thousands of police trade-ins, back on the market. Out of
these, there are some great deals; as many of these were carried a lot,
and shot very little. Most have factory SIGLITE night sights as well.

Not bad, it's hard to find good deals on Sig Sauers but I have managed to also a couple of times.
