My in-laws have been visiting the past few days and this morning my FiL said he wanted to go shooting. So I took him to my club with a variety of rifles and pistols. He owns a few hunting guns and a couple of handguns but he's not a big collector or shooter.

He liked most of what we tried but I let him test my FN FAL and I swear that between shots I could hear him laughing out loud.

It's maybe my most fun gun to shoot, too.

I can't wait to get my dad out to the range. He hasn't ever seen my collection due to geography, and I have no idea how long its been since he shot a rifle, and last time I know of him shooting pistol was at least 6 years ago. I really want to see how well his USMC Expert Marksman skills have held up over 30 years.
