i think i've designed the 'perfect' 1911...

i got tired of all the crap thats being done to the 1911 by the various providers...

so i decided to design my own ...
1st things to go were all the safeties... ie: gripsafety , thumbsafety , all related parts... next thing was to make it a DA only ala the beretta 92D with no spur on the hammer so theres nothing to catch or bite...
still a 1911 in every important way , feel, feeding , function (altho i'm considering a 'gasgun' conversion...)and reliabilty...
figured a way to make a 'short' da trigger using the original sa trigger , so you don't have that looooong da pull...
johnny , you're gonna pee yourself when you see this ...
a 'perfect' 1911...
i think i can keep most of the fieldstripping the same and with fewer parts there is less to go wrong ....

It looks like you describe a Para Ordnance gun with no external safeties. Many many many people would not agree that it's even an 1911 at all, much less a "perfect" one.

decided to go with a sig/cz type of barrel lockup as well ...less parts , more precise and reliable to boot ...
no bushing and link to worry about either...
imagine a simplified and perfected 1910 by jmb..
btw , its all steel , fullsize , 5" barrel , looks like a 1911 commercial except for the missing parts ...
