I think my wife's cheating on me...

So, lately my wife has been working a lot of late hours and for the past couple of months she has been carpooling with a male co-worker. At first I didn't mind as it saves on gas and in case she has car trouble or something. However, it seems they have become a bit more than than friends. You know the scenario, the phone calls that hang up, she starts wearing nice clothes to work and taking about him all the time then abruptly stops leaving an uncomfortable silence.

If I'm out in the garage when she gets home (usually after dark) he just drops her off and leaves, but if the lights are off in the garage (they think I'm sleeping) they sit out in the car for several minutes.

I asked her what they were doing and all she said, "Just talking." Whatever! So, last night I decided to see what's really going on out there. I left the garage door open, but turned off all the lights.

About the time she usually gets home, I go out in the garage and wait. In a few minutes his car pulls into my drive way and I'm hiding behind a bunch of my hunting stuff. When his headlights shine into my garage, I see something I just can't believe.

My bow string is fraying bad and the serving is showing some wear too.
How much longer should I let this go, before I get it replaced?

I'd ask your wife's new friend to pick one up on the way home, they must drive by a Sporting Goods store.

And you Call yourself an observant Person, BowHunter. One who is aware of their surroundings at all times and ready to spring into action at a moments notice. I just can not believe that it took you all this time to notice the situation. More people are injured and or worse when they are unaware of their surrounding. I believe that you wife has shown you the error of your ways by not paying attention to the string of life. You my friend our hanging on by a thread. But fret knot, just notch this up as a learning experience and stay clear of the fray. Just pray that in the long run you can take the long thoughful pull on this and not get the shaft.... Feathers and all.

Your statement is way out of line and your focus way off. You should have noticed the string long before your other problem became apparent. Well, I am glad you are okay.

I think both should be replaced as soon as they show too much wear. Safety first!! wouldnt want to get hurt by either one. when they snap.
