I want Beretta to make a new pocket pistol

I have to say -- I don't think I've ever heard a negative word about the TPH in .25 ACP chambering from anyone.

I have a U.S.-made TPH in .22 LR. One chambered in .25 has never before been on my radar -- but you may have persuaded me to keep a lookout. :)

.
My tph 22 was unreliable and the slide would draw blood if you're not careful. I'm sure the 25 is more reliable but I'm not interested in that caliber.

I wouldn't pay more than $250 for a modern 418, but if someone could make a 25acp in a steel frame to a decent quality, and nice looking, I would pay $4-500, maybe more. I'm hoping CZ will when they do US production. The 25 market didn't die, the GCA killed it. I get there are smaller lighter guns in .32, but people can't figure out some of us like to shoot carry guns, and .32/.380 are not fun in 6oz pistols. Also, everytime someone rants about "awpee 32 dor lcpee is smaller in lighter" than my .25, I remind them my .25 will fit inside a card box, and can be hidden under a $1 bill. its also only .60" wide, and heavy enough I don't have to worry about it getting loose.

I'm not sure of the differences in design between the Model 950BS and the Model 21.

The 950-series (Jetfire/Minx) is a single-action-only pistol, and is a bit slimmer. The 21-series (Bobcat) is a DA/SA-fired gun that is quite a bit thicker in the grip portion of the frame.

The 950-series was offered in .25ACP as the Jetfire, and .22 Short as the Minx. The 21-series was/is offered in .22LR and .25ACP, and uses the Bobcat name for both.

I have a pre-ban (no safety, Italian-made) Jetfire, and a 21A. The Bobcat, chambered in .22LR, is not at all reliable with CCI MiniMags, the only ammo I've tried so far. The Jetfire (.25ACP) is slicker in feel, lighter, and slimmer, but I've yet to shoot it. I expect it to function better than the Bobcat.

You're in luck! Seecamp makes the .25acp, .32acp and .380 acp. Take your pick.
I forgot to add, It would have to be DA/SA like the beretta 21, or SAO like most of the other .25. Exposed hammer would be ideal. Something like an Astra cub. DAO take the fun out of it. I may buy a seacamp anyway.

Funny thing is my ol' Bobcat ran best with solid nose CCI MiniMags. My Bobcat doesn't like hollow point .22s at all. Still, in it's glory days, my Bobcat would only run up to 4 magazines in a row with solid nose MiniMags. Now it's down to no magazines in a row.

I have never had any issues with any of my Berettas except for a Nano which was awful with 115g. A lot of folks that have the US made .22 TPH have ammo issues. My .25 has been flawless but they are very hard to find.

PS: I just saw the new Bobcat Covert today. Nice walnut grips and silencer ready.
