in Auburn tonight at around 8PM and I was shocked at the amount of ammo each store had. Gander was, as usual, way too high on their pistol ammo but they had it stacked high and deep in multiple brands. They had Fiocchi 9mm in brass for $14.99 but I bought a case of that locally about three weeks ago for $12.99, I think. The only thing I didn't see was 380.
Academy had quite a bit including 3 boxes of WWB 380 so I bought those. It's the first 380 FMJ I've seen anywhere lately. They also had their Monarch brand 9mm in steel case for $10.99 and brass for $12.99.

Friday night and the stores, especially Academy, were pretty busy. Lots of ninjas around and still there was plenty of ammo. That's a refreshing change over the past few months.

Before you ask they didn't have a single box of 22LR.

Matches my observations at a number of Walmart stores in my area that I visited in the last couple of weeks.

For anybody in NW Indiana, I was at Blythes in Valpo yesterday. They have LOT of .22LR. Quite a bit was Wolf Match at $9+ a box. I've used it in my CZ and it shoots REALLY well.

Also had a couple other brands. All is high price, but not stupid high. 5 box limit.

It's just a friendly suggestion, but if you stop going you will enjoy happier longer life. I really hate to see you boys suffer.:uhoh:

I was in my Gander last night in Huntsvegas Alabama and it was stacked nice and deep also. I stood there for a long time just taking it all in. Imagining it was all in my ammo room at home, ahh. Mine had everything , all varietes, all pack sizes, 100ct, 200ct, cans, everything. Actually had a little 380 also. Looks like the factory ammo panic is over, outside of 22. They had .17 but no 22. The guy said it's still gone 10 min after it hits the floor.

Well they finally have .22LR ammo and that's more than I can say for any of the three local Walmarts. Prices were reasonable and they were limiting it to a brick per customer.

The gander mt. by me is the most useless store for its size I have seen. Gigantic store with 85% clothes.Small tackle and guns stores have more of what I need. No bullets powder presses etc. They did have 5.56 , hunting and pistol ammo no 22
