I wish I could like revolvers.

In beauty there is ugliness and in ugliness there is beauty. Saying about the Samurai weapons and armor.

Get hold of a S&W model 19 and take it to the range. That will cure you!

I tried and tried, because I thought that everyone should have one for some reason, but I have decided that I will never be able to buy an autoloader and not feel like I wasted money. There are nice (at least well made) ones, but I love the wheel gun and see no reason to go any other way. They feel right, they shoot right, and they almost always look right (except for that awful S&W "TR" revolver), and there will always be a revolver for pretty much any job out there.
I think nothing looks better than a single action revolver, including the BP ones. I had always said that I thought the DA revolver was ugly, but when I pulled the trigger on a Colt Python, I changed my mind immediately and almost apologized to it in the gun store. You really can't knock it 'til you try it.
When I buy my first handgun this February, it will be chambered in .45 colt, and I don't think I'll ever look back... except maybe at a Ruger MkII with a bull barrel, but thats it;).

By the way, I am 21 and because of me, all of my friends are now revolver fans, too.

I wish I could like revolvers.

It's OK, kid. Stick with the plastic, if that's what floats your boat. That'll leave more revolvers for those who prefer them.

It doesn't have to be "either/or". Guns are like Golf Clubs, pick the one that is best for the job at hand. I don't like to carry my 1911's at work because I often end up crawling around on the floor pulling cables...so at work the best tool for the job is a S&W642 in a pocket holster. When I deer hunt the best tool for the job at hand is my Ruger SRH .44. For ccw when I won't be crawling around on the floor any of my 1911's is optimal. You don't have to be a "Revolver Guy" or a "Semi-Auto Guy" just pick the best tool for the job and be a "Gun Guy"!

Nothing,

absolutely nothing beats a good revolver~! With that statement made,
YES I do carry a semi-auto; simply because as a former LEO, I learned
too fight fire power with my own firepower~! But, my personal firearms
inventory is equally divided; half semi-auto's, and half revolver's~! ;)
