ID a custom knife??

I have a nice knife but no pictures to help. The blade has no markings and the only ID I can give you is the sheath has an embossed steer skull logo in the leather. I want to know the maker so I can get more, it is a supremely functional knife with well thought out ergonomics. It is about a 3.5" clip point skinning type knife with hardwood scale handles secured with brass pins.

There are so many small makers out there that could be using a similar logo it would be tough to tell without seeing a pic. Maybe someone else can help you sans picture.

Without a picture we can't help you much. The sheath could have been made by a sheath maker or it could even be commercial so that won't help.

What background info do you have? When did you get it? Where? How? When was it made? Is the blade marked in any way even if it's just an abstract symbol?

An unmarked blade that isn't somehow unique in appearance won't be identifyable.
