Hey Guys, just finished up a new one,
4" blade Small Game Knife in W2 tool steel, differential quenched with Hamon
burlap micarta handle scales with brass pins and lanyard tube
American Veg tanned molded leather sheath, beeswax finished.
pretty much my ideal woods knife

the handle and blade angles are perfect for skinning, and camp work

I don’t know about small game . The blade looks to wide for small game , but it looks like an excellent deer skinning knife .

I was thinking the same thing. Nice looking knife. I can’t imagine any small game task that would require a4” blade. It is about right for deer, bear, wild boar and camp chores. As for a small game knife my preference is for a pocket knife. I particularly liked the Remington bird knife with the innards hook and choke tube wrench.

Very nice! How many hours of work does it take to make something like that? It looks very high quality.
many! lots of hand polishing to bring out the hamon. I do my own heat treat too, and that takes quite a while
