Ideas for a "pass or fail" terminal performance test for hunting loads

Sorry if I made it sound like there was no value, that was not what I intended.
Just lots of variables involved, but I believe testing does have value.

One time I decided to shoot thru the only 1/2' branch in a 10' circle at 200 yards or so.
Hitting those 1/2 inch branches at that distance is really tuff!
The bullet still did the job, but the branch could have made things go differently.

PS: Hopefully when I retire I can afford to move to a "Free State".

We've been here a year now, the shock has worn off. I'm now on to anger and despair. ;)

All kidding aside, it is a beautiful state overall. I'm not a fan of being in Sacramento (I have never encountered a slower moving, more in the way population in my life) but I'm not really an urban kind of guy at all. The foothills, Sierras, and the northern coast are gorgeous, but also expensive :eek:
