My brothers buddy found this in a car he bought and we're curious to know what gun the clip fits in and what type of bullets they are.

by the way, there are two numbers on the back of the bullet:

I think it is a CZ-52 mag and the cal would be 7.62x25mm. It may be a Tokarev but it really looks like a CZ-52 to me.

Andrew, if we're correcting, that's not only a magazine, but those are cartridges!

that depends entirely on whether or not you've got an empty cz52 and a need to defend yourself.

Used CZ-52 mags go for $15 to $20.

    Add $0.40 to $1.40 for a filled one. ;)

and a CZ-52 with holster and two magazines can be had for under $100, so I think finding this magazine is a good excuse to buy a '52 :D

Fun little shooter too (especially if you like loud guns that spew fireballs).

    But I'm positive its a CZ-52 mag ... here's a picture of a CZ-52 mag from www.makarov.com (BTW, they sell them for $26)

To further clarify, those look like Chinese import copper-washed steel cased cartridges. Often, the bullet itself is steel cased and will spark when it hits a rock. I found this out at a range shooting 9x18 with steel cased bullets.
