Seriously though, guns are only one form of deadly weapons. And a relatively new form too boot. Wait'll we face "sling control"! Actually, as I recall, simple blowguns have been outlawed in California for years!

As a young teenager I made Zip guns.
With just the tools in many handyman's shop a pretty decent machine gun can be made in a few days, so you can imagine what can be made in well equipped little machine shop. (it's a lot easier to make a machine gun than a bolt action)

Years ago I saw a picture of a machine gun that was made in jail.

I know for a fact that in Eastern Europe, during the "Iron Curtain" days of an extremely repressive totalitarian regieme, that a huge number of privately owned firearms were hidden. Estonians referred to the occasional checkup and maintenance as: "Oiling the garden".
