1. hunting - S&W Model 629 6" (.44 Mag.)

2. self defense/home defense - S&W Model 696 3" (.44 Special)

3. competitive shooting. - S&W Model 24 6-1/2" (.44 Special)

Hunting: Ruger Single Six .22LR/.22WMR 6.5" barrel (squirrels/rabbits/etc)
Defense: S&W 686P .357/.38S 4" barrel

Competition? I'd be lucky if I didn't shoot myself in the butt at a CAS competition. If they have a competition for making really loud noises and large holes in things, I'd like a Ruger Redhawk .44M/.44S, 7.5" barrel, with scope mount, and a weight set to work up the strength to wield it.

I love these silly ( :p ) questions/polls--they're so easy for me to answer.....

1--Colt Python 2.5" (defense)
2--Colt Python 4" (games)
3--Colt Python 6" (hunting)

Any questions about what manufacturer, model or calibre guns I prefer??
