Ok guys I was recently asked if I could do everything on one press why do I need more than one. I ask you if you only could have one press what would it be :D. This is meant to be a fun thread so don't take it to seriously :p.

It would be and is what I have - a Lee Classic Turret. A perfect match to MY realistic ammo needs and budget.

I suspect most everyone will respond in a similar fashion listing what they have and enjoy that meets their needs and budget.

Either my original Hollywood Senior, or my Rockchucker. I have numerous presses, but if limited to just one, it would be one of those.

Hope this helps.

Fred

If only one it would be my T-Mag 2 be-caws it gives me more clearance when loading 25.06 270 & 30.06. I like my Lee Turret pres for 380 up to 223

Well for me it would have to be my Lee classic Turret does everything I ask of it :D.

That's not a fair question! :D

But, if I could only have one press for the rest of my life it would be the Redding Big Boss II.

I'd have to say I'd keep the Dillon 550. It's easy to load on it like a single stage, or like a turret if you want to.

There's no way I could realistically do 95% of my reloading on a single stage.

I've been loading for 25 years on the same Dillon 550B. Only press I've ever owned and I see no reason to add or change to another press.

Lee hand press hands down, so small and versatile, but I don't load 50BMG. The 550B I'm unpackaging today I'm hoping will be a bit faster though

RCBS Rock-Chucker since 1970.

It does it all!

Yup! Me too......minus 2 years....you win.

However......I'd really cry if I had to give up my Pro 2000....does everything I want to do easier and faster, but I admit, I don't have all the tools yet to load everything I did on the Rock Chucker.

While I just added a 2nd press for some additional versatility, my 550B was my only press for the past couple of years and could easily have remained so.

One press..?? Redding T-7, hands down..!! It is a great single stage and you can still load semi-progressive. It's built like a Sherman tank..

Since I don't have a need for speed, I have to go with my trusty Rock Chucker. It isn't ever going to wear out, and it loads everything I need.

I only need or want a single stage and have four plus an iron turret. If I had to have just ONE it would not be my RC 2, it would be a Lee Classic Cast; it's equal or better in every way. (Second choice would be a Redding Ultra Mag but it's vast over kill for my needs.)

Probably the old RCBS A2 (can do anything), followed by the Hollywood senior turret. Like mentioned above though, there should be an exemption for progressives (Star universal). Sure is good that we CAN have more than one. I would shed a tear to see some of them go.
