Like others, my gun safe has a lot of STUFF.

I have habitually put just about everything associated with firearms into my gun safe: long guns, handguns, ammo, mags, ear protection, eye protection, cleaning supplies, etc.

While it's handy keeping all of STUFF in there, I'm just about at the LIMIT in terms of space.

The ammo seems to take up a lot of room in there, but I'm unsure about keeping it elsewhere. Any suggestions on being "efficient" with the gun safe space available?

If you're like me and my husband, you purchase another safe...

And another one...

Then you replace one of the doors on a bedroom with a security door and deadbolt, and call it "the gun room"...

Then you design a house with a walk-in safe that takes up 25% or more of the basement...

Then...

Well, you get the picture. :D

Basically, my gun safe is for firearms, magazines, and any accessory that's expensive (e.g. laser rangefinder, high-quality binoculars, etc.). Cleaning gear, holsters, reloading equipment, and other general shooting stuff is kept in steel cupboards in another part of the house. It's still secure there (although not as well protected against burglars or fire, obviously), but by moving it out, I don't have to buy a new gunsafe quite as often! :D
