Just came home from a fun friday night dinner with the family. Turned on the TV which has pretty much been on new stations since last friday. I came across Pierce Morgans idiotic show tonight, I have been listening to his lies for about 20 minutes now and I just felt like I had to post this statement:

I will never give up any of my firearms no matter what kind of legislation is made. I know that any legislation probably wouldn't entail confiscation, but if it ever did I would rather become a criminal myself by retaining my firearms then give in to such utter bullcrap. Listening to the logic of the "other side" of the argument literally makes me ashamed to live among them.

Maybe I shouldn't post from now on after having adult beverages.....

I dont intend to either.

As far as Sir Piers..Why does anyone listen to some Brit making money on our shores constantly telling America how they got to do the way the Brits do it.
Seems to me we shot them right out of this country years ago to form our own nation and laws and ways of doing things including having a 2A in our Constitution of firearms ownership.
I would feel pretty good if a lot of people petioned CNN to get rid of the foul little schmuck.

If Morgan really believes what he says why doesn't he just go back to Britain? Seems like that would be the perfect place for him.

He's here because the money is better, and the UK sucks. They can't hardly buy a kitchen knife over there.

And to think I used to enjoy watching Pierce Morgan. Now I wouldn't dream of wasting my time with such drivel.

I personally think it's a shame he's chosen to carry the standard of the anti-gun camp.

I understand he's asking why Americans need an AR or Ak. He argues that they are not weapons people typically hunt with. I doubt this can be explained in any way that would make sense to him, but this is not England. This is America.
Here, we have a gun culture that has been with us since the dawning of this great nation. It's one of the things that define us, much as freedom and liberty define us.

The 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting.

I don't think he knows a thing about Real hunting, after all in England a typical hunt is a bunch of men in tight britches, leather boots and carrying whips while the ride into the forests for hours then more then likely come back without a thing...

JBrady555, I understand what you're saying, but it's not about you.

The bigger picture is that it's really about our kids and our grandkids and their kids. What if we're grandfathered in and those that follow us are not allowed to own anything? What if their rights are taken away before they have a chance to exercise them?

It's about our kids and our grandkids. We're already there. They're not. It's about their future and the future of our great country. It is our duty to leave them a legacy of freedom.

YOU !

Back in the stockade !

We'll have no such drivel here. NEIN !

something tells me if they thought about trying this there'd be a whole lot of heavily armed fish in some lakes.

Mr Morgan needs to remember that but for our guns and GI's he would have grown up speaking German.

Maybe he wants us all to give up AKs and ARs and replaced with Lee Enfield No 1s and No 4s.

with regards to giving up guns.......if they had a turn in, i probably would forget to show up and turn them in.

however if the men in blue helmets show up at my door with guns demanding my firearms, then yeah, i may hand them over then.....im not about to engage in a firefight in my home. if i need a gun bad enough, i have access to a lathe and mill, it wont be too hard to whip something up.

Jeremy Clarkson really needs to punch Piers Morgan.

Again.

haha, im pretty sure i remember Clarkson saying at one point he give a reward to anyone who punches Morgan in the face........

I used to like Piers too. Unfortunately, he's gone over the edge on this one. His venom toward gun owners is ridiculous. And who the hell can fire 100 rounds out of a semi-auto rifle or handgun in "seconds"? Dumbasses.

I'm really sick, too, of all the idiots (especially so-called pro-gun Democrats and that phoney Joe Scarborough) equating the 2nd Amendment to hunting.

I wish media types would get educated on firearms a bit before doing their "reporting".

It's hard to say with certainty what I would do if it came to confiscation. But a line needs to be drawn somewhere. I not sure if that's the hill I'm willing to die on...but it might be, I'm getting pretty fed up with the likes of Piers, Ed, Rachael, et al.

well, anyone can fire 100 rounds in 'seconds'......

just the same as i can run a mile in 'milliseconds'.........1020000 milliseconds to be precise.

and did i mention i have 'millions' in the bank.......$0.0001 million
