Anti-immigration folks are generally busy at work earning their way though the day engaging in legal activities, paying their own way and paying taxes.

No one is giving me Section 8 housing to live in. I pay my own mortgage
No one is giving me free health care I earn that as part of my wages (and STILL pay deductibles & co-pays)
No one is giving me Cupones de Comidas. I earn my daily bread

I support any person who is willing to LEGALLY come into the USA to work and be free.

But to sneak into my country, steal from me via taking welfare/health/housing benfits paid for by the taxes taken coercively from me and then to have the gall to threaten my country with strikes or violence?

Those of you who reject "brick walls and chain fences" are obviously unaware of the stunning advances that we have made in reinforced concrete. The wall would do the work border patrol does now, and border patrol would simply take care of the wall. This is a much more tenable state of affairs than we have now.

If a teeny country like israel can make a wall capable of repelling the most determined and skilled terrorists in the world, surely we can make one that keeps illiterate day-laborers out.

This is a good thing. From the polls I have seen, an overwhelming majority of Americans are against illegal immigration. If the anti-illegals masses were even a fraction as passionate about the issue as the pro-illegals groups, there would be blood in the streets.
