A few of us got together at the state capitol and made our beliefs known to the politicians! My guess is +- 3000, ISRA was more conservative. A truly well represented spectrum of gun owners. Hope it had some effect!:banghead:

NICE! The media will say "25 disaffected gun nuts disrupted traffic at the capitol today." Same way 1000 women became a "Million Mom March"....

The disheartening thing for me is that the crowd is mostly gray hair and white shoes. The antis are patiently waiting us out. It will probably only be one to two more generations until people will look at the Second Amendment the way most people look at the Third Amendment. And then it's bye-bye.

A truth I've found is that the majority of folks don't become politically active at all until after 35-40. Don't worry, there's a re-enforcing tide coming up.

I represent that statement...

Yea, there was some white hair but plenty of women, youngsters (families) and different races. Who else can take off a tuesday to travel and lobby. i'd be very surprised if there weren't white hair and shoes. We marched @ 6 blocks and I wished I wore sneakers!
