Ranger - Understood, thanks. I have 600 primers and that's all I need to keep my two new rifles going for the year (got one as a present and my father gave me one because he is just a nice guy I guess). I just couldn't stand not reloading for two new rifles so I paid up for the last 600 primers

Our local store limits one brick per person per day of any primer. They are all $32.80 a brick (1000). Glad I bought some at Sportsman Warehouse before they went out of business. I think I gave 26 per 1000 there.

My local gun shop had 500 sp left and I asked him if he had any more. He said thats it, so I bought 400 for some 32 acp reloading that I'm working on right now and left 100 for the next guy. No sense gettin' greedy.

Way I look at it is that those that stock up will have 'em when they need 'em. The others are similar to the old grasshopper an' cricket parable.... Now, I won't go in someplace an' buy out everything they have - in fact, I make it a point to try an' order online so the local supplies don't git depleted by my usage. But - if I have 20k primers, it's MY money, MY choice. By the same token, a SGT in one of the local PD's was needin' some SR primers for an upcomin' match. He needed 100 - I dropped off 300, an' told 'em to tell him Santa was early. I won't miss 'em, he NEEDED 'em.
