I've been thinking of a Saiga12 and wanted anyones experiences or opinions. I'm not a pump action guy but do like the starting price of shotguns. Would prefer a semi-auto with more then four.

Corriea, one of the mods here, has one he loves for 3 gun. Most of the input from owners here has been good.

I do recommend shooting a few different shotguns first before committing money and time to one.

HTH....

I'd be interested to see what the recoil is like on one of these. Looks like a lot of fun! You'd get some looks at the trap/skeet range!! :what:

I only shot a couple guns, but my preference is the 1100. It's a semi auto and I just can not get the hang of a pump no matter how much I would like to. I used a mossberg pump and while it shot well and seemed to be ok, I lose it trying to load and reload.

I finally found a deal on a nice 1100 so I can stop borrowing the BF's.

I just wish I had bought a saiga12 when the prices were reasonable. A couple years ago they seemed fairly cheap, and the prices have jumped up insanely since then.

I have them in stock for $405. I don't think I would call that insane for a gun that I've shot 6,500+ rounds through with two malfunctions, do two second reloads, and can come within .15 of a second of the world record on a Dozier drill with one.
