Bulls eye that is. Im loading a batch of ammo. I started with 357's. 158 grain hollow points. With 6 grains of bulls eye. Then i did 10mm 180 grain cast same load. And 38 super 125 grain cast with 5 grains. I have 38's to do yet. 158 grain cast with 3.5 grains of bulls eye. This wasn't intended. Just worked out that way as i looked up data. The 38's is my pet load.

Looks like you are well on your way to a great afternoon of shooting .

I am saving my few remaining pounds of Bullseye for .38 Wadcutter loads, I have no idea when (or if) I will ever see Alliant powder on the shelves again. :(

Let us know how your loads shoot for you when you get back out to the range. :)

Stay safe.

Alliant powders are widely available just not each one, everywhere, all the time. We just have to adapt to the present normal.

I can find BE-86 and recently came across Blue Dot which I hadn't seen since before the scamdemic!
BE-86 has been most consistently available over past many months. Does that mean it’s just not popular? I don’t know but Alliant pistol powder availability seems to run in cycles. Bullseye was available a couple months ago while others were not. Now it’s vapor but Sport Pistol and others are around. Soon it’ll be back.

Alliant runs powder in batches, much like everyone else. A batch of powder A, a batch of powder 2, a batch of powder X.

When it's gone, it's gone until the next batch (many tons) is run.

Don't forget: the recipe doesn't always come out the same. Like aiming for H335 and coming out with BLC2; it doesn't always work out the way they want.

That makes sense then why only groups are available for a while then a different group.
