Immigration News?

I'm not usually one to look up recent news by topic so I don't really know where to start here. I've been assigned to discuss the weeks news on the topic of immigration.

We get into alot of immigration talks here so I thought some folks might know where to find the news here. The connection doesn't have to be ironclad. One article I printed related to giving more rights to mail order brides to protect them from criminals who are essentially importing sex slaves from other countries.

Links to current immigration news or even a link to a news source that will let me search by date and topic are welcome.

There's a bit of good information there. They are mostly activist web sites rather than actual immigration news though. I'll keep looking.

Not trying to complain. I'm just looking for "news" rather than activism. I checked out all the links and found very little in the way of news articles relating to immigration topics. No offense intended. I book marked several of the sites provided for my own curiosity.

I did end up finding some good articles using a previously unknown Google feature. I did an advanced search covering the last 7 says in the "news" section.

Don't be so quick to dismiss "activists" sites. Those who watch immigration issues are well aware of a virtual news blackout from so-called main stream media. While there may be a lack of "news" there is no lack of "incidents." The problem now becomes making sense of "incidents" and putting them into some kind of context. In other words you have to write your own news. Your best bet for gathering incidents is "activists" sites.

Be aware of the wide and deep chasm separating the ruling class and the taxpaying class on the topic of illegal immigration. Those who run MSM are part of the ruling class IMNSHO.
