Impeachment is a waste of time and counter productive, I'm not the biggest fan of the Prez, but just because his policies have BECOME unpopular does not mean he should be impeached. He won the elections through votes and all the voters must deal with it.

Impeachment is truly embarrassing on an international scale. I would rather our leader be viewed internationally as a warmonger than an impotent fool.

Dissent for the sake of dissent is childish and weakens the morale of our country and the confidence in all elected leaders.

Everyday I hear people without basic knowledge of social science and American civics badmouthing Bush, you are allowed an opinion, but can you justify it through anything other than passion? By the way watching Bill Mahr and Jon Stewart don't count as a BS in Political Science unless you worship the donkey.

That is actually a pretty compelling case for the war in Iraq. Saddam was involved in an assasination attemp on an American President.

Yes TCB, I am not disputing the validity of this reason. Still, after so many years, you would think you might let water go under the dam for the now deceased, oppressor and tyrant!

Each one of your statements is flat false. Sorry to let you know this. If you honestly believe any of these, please drop in some supporting links.

ORLY?

Lying about the cause of a war.
Bush cherry picked the intel he based his report off of.
Downing Street Memo confirms he was planning war with Iraq in 2002 and earlier

Suspending Habeas Corpus.
Bush and Ashcroft decide on who is an enemy combatant and who isn't.
Bush gets to decide if a person gets a right to trial? Sorry but no that is a gross usurpation of power.

Keeping Rumsfeld around at all.
Funny how Abu Ghraib got their tactics from Guantanamo which should never been allowed to operate in the first place if he didn't get away with suspending Habeas Corpus.
His failure to outfit and take care of the troops.
"You fight with the army you have" Rummy should have been fired for that if not Abu Ghraib.

Using signing statements as a form of line item vetoing.

Sure they are supposed to help when you have to take the law before the Supreme court but when you put in that you aren't going to enforce this part or this part you are doing line item vetoes. And that is unconstitutional.

Illegal Wiretaps.

Congress questions the legality of his secret wiretaps they even had an investigation into it and it was inconclusive...

Lying about not wanting to Nation build & Lying about wanting a smaller govt.

Granted this is from his campaign but still when confronted with a situation where one could put their foot down he decides to nation build and make a bigger govt.

On Nation building

On bigger govt

His supposed stance in 2000 is totally not what he did in office. He is a slimly scumball liar. Flat out.

Dissent for the sake of dissent is childish and weakens the morale of our country and the confidence in all elected leaders.

"It is dissent from government policies that defines the true patriot and champion of liberty" - Ron Paul

It is our job to question why people are doing things. The minute you let them do whatever without questioning why you are letting them decide what is best for you.

We dissent about gun laws. What is the difference when it comes to cause of war, or the job our president is NOT doing.

He has an abysmal approval rating. He is obviously not doing the job people want him to do or if he is he is doing it poorly.

If your doctor/lawyer had a 30%+- approval rating would you think they are doing a good job let alone should keep being a doc or lawyer?

I worked on both of President Bush's campaigns, and voted for him twice. I'd do so again.

He's not perfect, but I'm glad he's running the show. Highlights include taking the war to the enemy and putting 2 outstanding justices on the SCOTUS.

I'm not happy with his amnesty positions, nor some aspects of the Patriot Act, but if you agree with any politician 100%, you aren't being honest with yourself.

Impeach him? Hah!

Thanks

REVIO; Thank you for posting the links in support of your position. You've made a most compelling case.

VIDEO TAPE NEVER FORGETS.

I'd be in politics except my memory is almost the shortest thing on my body. :(

I would have to say a big "NO" on the idea of impeachment.

I agree with EightBall, impeachment is serious business and not something to be taken lightly. The public is too quick to call him a bad president just because it is the popular thing to do. Take a step back for a second and think about this, did Bush have anything to do with 9/11? no, he was thrust into one of the most difficult positions a president has ever been in. How about Iraq? he had to decide, "should we go in a set a precedent of how to deal with a murderous and oppressive ruler?" "or should we do what Clinton has been doing for years and simply ignore it, let it fester for a few more years, and hope Saddam doesn't get chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, and hope he doesn't decide to wipe Israel off the map"

Before you decide that the Dixie chicks don't like him, I shouldn't either, or you decide to sympathize with Rodger Moore. Put you self in president Bush's shoes, think of the tough decisions he has to make. You will quickly realize that he has done a damn good job considering the extraordinary circumstances the world is in.

IMHO, I believe his impeachment would be a good lesson for this country and will show to the world we are serious about righting the wrongs his administration has done in the last several years. It will be a good purging of our national soul.

Ok reoiv

now, Where in that bunch was a crime?

So what if Bush did not want to wait for another worthless UN Resolution. not a crime.

There is a problem with granting Habeas corpus to non-americans. It simply does not apply. There are grey areas aas to what to do with these guys. Now, where is the crime?

Outfitting the army...The army went with what they had, just as the troops in WWII went with what they had. Sorry, no crime.

Do you see the pattern? You may not like what he has done, but so what. Prove a crime and then come talk to me.

Oh, and proving it does not mean coming up with some left wing moonbat blog. Let's see the hard facts.

Trust me, if there were any,the Democrats would have jumped on it long ago.

That's probably the most funny thing I've read all day! Thanks, man.

Far be it for me to engage in an internet cliché but...
